About the Product: I originally ordered a lavender D20 soap bar at a discount from Chibi Dreams. My fiancé is a huge DnD fan and my favorite scent is lavender. I chose to get a purple soap since the scent was lavender. Despite the delay in shipping, I was super excited to get this product and try it out. The packaging was adorable with Chibi Dreams’ cute logo on it. However, there was a bit of smearing on the box from the soap sliding around. Chibi Dreams fixed some of the smearing by placing a smaller box underneath the D20s so that they didn’t move around as much in the next batch of soaps that I ordered at full price (because I liked them so much and wanted to give them away as gifts).


On the surface of the D20, you can see the different numbers. There is a small hole at the bottom that you can look through to see the D20 in the center. Each D20 soap has an actual D20 in the center that is revealed as you use the soap more and more. Chibi Dreams also sent me 5 free bubblegum gemstones with the original D20 and they make excellent hand soap. I may actually like the gemstones even more than the D20. ^.^ The nice thing about the products at Chibi Dreams’ shop is that you can customize your soaps based on color and scent.


After taking some initial pictures, we placed the D20 in the bathroom for use. It lasted a good month or two despite being constantly used in the shower. I have a strong sense of smell so it was nice to use a soap that only had a hint of fragrance that didn’t overpower my senses. The soap suds up easily enough and I had no adverse reactions to it meaning that it is likely good for people with sensitive skin to use, but keep in mind that everyone is different. The soap does not make your skin feel oily after a wash and leaves you feeling refreshed. Once I was able to extract the actual D20 inside the soap, I placed it with my Dice Dragon that I bought from Art by Aelia, another Etsy seller that I have reviewed before.


After doing the review, I found that I loved the soaps so much that I bought more to give as gifts. I bought 4 more D20s and chose the surprise me option. At this time, Chibi Dreams had improved her packaging and shipping options and the soaps arrived quickly. Boy was I surprised when the package came, as not only did I get my 4 D20s (Lemon - Yellow, Orange – Orange Cream, Blue – Cotton Candy, Brown – Maple) that I ordered, but I also got a free Pokeball soap with a Pokemon inside (Two colors, reddish white – Lavender), a different kind of gem soap (Greenish – Mint Chocolate Chip), and a soap that was shaped like a flower with fuchsite inside (White – Lavender). All of the soaps are so pretty and smell so nice. My favorite is the flower as it just shines when you hold it up to the light. If any need improvement, it would be the Pokeball as it looks more like a ball with a Pokemon inside instead of a Pokeball. I talked to Chibi Dreams and she said that it was supposed to be red and white and she plans on looking into better nonbleeding dyes for her bicolored soaps. Either way, I am extremely satisfied with my orders and will likely order more in the future. Chibi Dreams is such a generous seller that I can help highly recommending her for people who like things like specialty soaps.

Cosplay Applications: It is important for cosplayers to stay clean, especially when you are sweating at a con. As we use a lot of makeup for some costumes, it is important to have a soap that will not irritate our skin. I actually took the bubblegum gemstones that I had gotten with me to use as hand soap at my last con. These cute soaps can also work as props in the background during a photo shoot.
