Long Silver Wig from TinyUnicorn Review

Hey all! I love this silver wig from TinyUnicorn. It is great for us cosplayers who like to do a variety of characters.

About the Seller: Awesome seller. Have worked with them before and items always arrive quickly and is of good quality.

About the Product: I have worked with TinyUnicorn a lot and this is by far my favorite wig that I have received from them to review. This wig is silver and makes the perfect compliment to Christmas and winter themed costumes. My boyfriend said that I made a lovely Ms. Claus when I wore a Santa outfit or when I wore a nice red dress to a Christmas party. I can also see myself wearing this wig for my Princess Anna cosplay when she starts to freeze over after Elsa blasts her heart with ice magic. I think this wig will work wonders with elf cosplays as well and can't wait to see what else I can do with it. I tested the wig with a hair straightener and it is heat resistant which is always good for cosplayers as it allows us to style the wigs as we need. The curls at the bottom help keep the wig from tangling and I would recommend combing through it with your fingers rather than a brush to help keep the natural bounciness of the curls. The wig did arrive a little frizzy but that is easily fixed with a little big of care. It is probably still wise to use detangling spray because it will help keep the wig in good condition longer. The bangs are long which makes them great for styling. I have not yet styled the wig as I am not sure what I will be using it for yet. Like most wig companies, TinyUnicorn sends you a free wig cap with the wig. Unlike many of TinyUnicorn's wigs, this wig is thicker and more durable which makes it a great purchase on Amazon and TinyUnicorn because it is not super expensive. It is also long without the issue of being too long and annoying to deal with like many cosplay wigs.

Cosplay Applications: This is a great wig for Christmas time and can work for a number of characters with silver hair. For example, I use a long silver wig for Ms. Clause and Princess Anna (when she starts freezing over). Other characters include Sephiroth, Moka Akashiya (vampire form), Kiyouko Kirigiri, Suigintou, Eucliwood Hellscythe, Tomoyo Sakagami, and Kanade Tachibana to name a few.

Please check out the photos I have included in this review. All of these photos feature the silver wig that I received to review from TINYUNICORN. If you wish to check out the product and see other reviews, please check their product listing on Amazon.

Duskfire Dragon's Mate by Zoe Chant

I received "Duskfire Dragon's Mate" by Zoe Chant as an Advanced Reading Copy (ARC).  "Duskfire Dragon's Mate" is a shifter romance between a human and a dragon who had a lot of misunderstandings in their past. While trying to avoid too many spoilers, Maya had fled from Corin and the human world to Hideaway Cove, a safe haven for shifters, to protect her son, Tomas, in the previous story, "The Lightning Dragon's Mate."  Maya receives a mystery package that brings Corin back into her life.  Worried about her son, Maya agrees to allow Corin to stay and they begin to discover a world of misunderstandings, not just their own.  It's a sweet story of new beginnings and second chances, as well strengthening of familial bonds with some surprising twists in the plot.  Also, who can resist Tomas' adorable baby dragon antics and stealing of gold?  Though this is the 4th book in Chant's Hideaway Cove series, it can be read as a standalone.  Howe...

Forbidden Griffin by Zoe Chant

I received "Forbidden Griffin" by Zoe Chant as an ARC.  "Forbidden Griffin" is a shifter romance between two exiled griffins.  While trying to avoid too many spoilers, Cela is exiled from Griffin Island because her babies were not born griffins.  A nice enforcer suggests she find Tyr to help her out.  Needless to say, Cela and Tyr get a lot more than they bargained for when they meet and Tyr helps Cela get used to living in a human world, as Cela had never been off the island.  They'd make a nice family... if only they could touch.  The story follows Tyr and Cela's journey to break their curse and become a family along the way.  It's a sweet story of new beginnings and second chances, as well as new and blended families.  Though this is the 8th book in Chant's Bodyguard Shifters series, it is easily read as a standalone, though there are a few references to things that happened in prior books.  I will definitely be going back to read the othe...

Unholy Murder by Lynda La Plante

The 7th novel in the Tennison series, "Unholy Murder" by Lynda La Plante starts off slow with the discovery of a coffin in a dig site.  Over the course of the book, many mysteries are unveiled as Jane Tennison tries to get justice for the dead nun.  Relationships are tense, broken and strengthened, as new information is found.  Will justice ever be served or will they perp(s) escape once again?  Though the story is slow to get into, it does become more engaging as it nears the climax and reveals.  There are lots of red herrings and little details that add up to understanding the case.  What is nice about "Unholy Murder" is that you do not need to have read the previous books in the series to enjoy this book.  Any details that you need from the previous books are woven in nicely throughout the natural thread of the story and plot line.  I also liked how detailed the investigation process was as it really gives you insight to what takes place...
