About the Seller: No problems with the seller. Product was sent out promptly.

About the Product: Atetion sent me a black pedometer smart watch to test out. Here are my thoughts. If you don’t like watches, this item is not for you, otherwise keep reading. I personally do not like things around my wrist and found that I was uncomfortable wearing the smart watch. But this is because I am not a fan of watches and has nothing to do with the quality or comfort of the product.

The watch is adjustable which allows people with small or large wrists to wear the watch comfortable and adjust it to the tightness that they prefer. The clasps took a little while to figure out but once you learn to place it and then pinch it closed it becomes a lot easier to put on. It was recommended that I wear it with the tracking part on the inside of my wrist so that it could feel my pulse easily. I liked that the company included instructions with the watch and also sent me an email with further instructions in case I had any difficulties with their product.

To use the smart watch to its full potential, you have to download the Veryfit 2.0 app. It is easy and free to download from the Google Play Store. I liked that the smart watch was not just a pedometer, but also a regular watch and a sleep monitor as well. As a pedometer, I was not sure how accurate the readings were as I am a teacher and I spend a lot of time writing and moving my arms which may cause false readings in the step count.

As for the sleep monitor, I found it to be extremely accurate. I do not sleep well and often wake up in the middle of the night. I would take a look at the clock and take note of the times I would wake up and compare it to the charts that were created when you synced the smart watch to your phone’s Bluetooth and the Veryfit 2.0 app. The times that I was awake at night were clearly marked in the sleep charts. It tracks deep sleep (which I think includes your REM cycle), light sleep, and wakefulness. One thing I never figured out was whether the watch would automatically record sleep or if you had to manually set it each time as I always manually set it.

Battery life: The smart watch charges quickly and I have been using it all day and night for over a week and I still have not had to charge it. The watch holds a charge well despite recording sleep, being a watch, counting steps, calculating calories, etc. I wasn’t a huge fan of the charger as it was something you had to clasp onto the watch and line up to the correct spots instead of a simple plug in but this might be good as many plug in cords break easily.

Cosplay Applications: Many cosplayers are intent on staying in shape so that we fit in our costumes. The watch helps track how much you move and your steps which could be useful in encouraging us to exercise and reach our exercise goals…. Something I have to work on quite a bit. ^.^

Forbidden Griffin by Zoe Chant

I received "Forbidden Griffin" by Zoe Chant as an ARC.  "Forbidden Griffin" is a shifter romance between two exiled griffins.  While trying to avoid too many spoilers, Cela is exiled from Griffin Island because her babies were not born griffins.  A nice enforcer suggests she find Tyr to help her out.  Needless to say, Cela and Tyr get a lot more than they bargained for when they meet and Tyr helps Cela get used to living in a human world, as Cela had never been off the island.  They'd make a nice family... if only they could touch.  The story follows Tyr and Cela's journey to break their curse and become a family along the way.  It's a sweet story of new beginnings and second chances, as well as new and blended families.  Though this is the 8th book in Chant's Bodyguard Shifters series, it is easily read as a standalone, though there are a few references to things that happened in prior books.  I will definitely be going back to read the othe...

Duskfire Dragon's Mate by Zoe Chant

I received "Duskfire Dragon's Mate" by Zoe Chant as an Advanced Reading Copy (ARC).  "Duskfire Dragon's Mate" is a shifter romance between a human and a dragon who had a lot of misunderstandings in their past. While trying to avoid too many spoilers, Maya had fled from Corin and the human world to Hideaway Cove, a safe haven for shifters, to protect her son, Tomas, in the previous story, "The Lightning Dragon's Mate."  Maya receives a mystery package that brings Corin back into her life.  Worried about her son, Maya agrees to allow Corin to stay and they begin to discover a world of misunderstandings, not just their own.  It's a sweet story of new beginnings and second chances, as well strengthening of familial bonds with some surprising twists in the plot.  Also, who can resist Tomas' adorable baby dragon antics and stealing of gold?  Though this is the 4th book in Chant's Hideaway Cove series, it can be read as a standalone.  Howe...

Unholy Murder by Lynda La Plante

The 7th novel in the Tennison series, "Unholy Murder" by Lynda La Plante starts off slow with the discovery of a coffin in a dig site.  Over the course of the book, many mysteries are unveiled as Jane Tennison tries to get justice for the dead nun.  Relationships are tense, broken and strengthened, as new information is found.  Will justice ever be served or will they perp(s) escape once again?  Though the story is slow to get into, it does become more engaging as it nears the climax and reveals.  There are lots of red herrings and little details that add up to understanding the case.  What is nice about "Unholy Murder" is that you do not need to have read the previous books in the series to enjoy this book.  Any details that you need from the previous books are woven in nicely throughout the natural thread of the story and plot line.  I also liked how detailed the investigation process was as it really gives you insight to what takes place...
