Brandy's Color Street Nail Polish Strips

Now I am not one to do my nails and keep them pretty short, but this product sucked me in when it was given to me as a gift from my sister. I highly recommend it to anyone who does their nails. It may make me do my nails more often.

About the Seller: Brandy Messerly is a mom who works full time and sells Color Street's Nail Polish Strips on the side. Full disclosure, she is my best friend and I consider her my sister. She is the sweetest person you will ever meet and is really helpful when people want to try out these products. You can contact her via Phone: 7174950262 or Email: fireangel6210@yahoo.com and she will be happy to help.

About the Product: Color Street Nail Polish Strips are basically nail polish strips you stick to your nails and file or scrape off the extra. They are pretty easy to use and have lots of designs (for manicures, pedicures, and French tips). You can use a single strip or combine sets for a variety of new styles. They are easy to use and will last for at least a year.  You can use designs over other designs, especially clear designs over solids.  My friend actually uses special shape hold punches to create even more designs, as she layers the punched nail strip over a solid strip.

The strip contains the base, color, and top coats.  I actually cut mine in half so I could save some for another application, which was quite easy to do with a regular pair of sisters.  They are easy to preserve.  The best part, absolutely NO DRY TIME.  They also don't smudge.  This was a big plus for me as I kept ruining my nails for not waiting long enough.  For me, who is rough on my nails, they stayed looking nice for at least 3 days (at that was with me canoeing), though for most people they last at least a week.  They also work for short nails or long nails, which I was originally worried about because I keep my nails pretty short.

Many sets already come with a variety of options that let you have some freedom in how your nails look. For example, my sister Kate and I used the same Cherry Blossom set (limited edition) and came out with two different, yet both equally pretty results. The first image is what Kate designed, and the second was my simpler design from the same set.
How to Use: So many of you know I am hopeless when painting my nails, but Color Street nail strips were simple enough that I got it down pretty easily the first time I tried. It took me 30 minutes to do, but should get much faster as you keep using the product. Note: Do not store in bathroom due to humidity.
1. Remove clear cover
2. Peel polish strip (should see a silver strip)
3. Tear tab and select end
4. Apply to nail and gently stretch to fit
5. File or peel off excess

To show how easy it was and to test the product myself, I made a video.  Hope it helps all you beginners.

Cosplay Applications: These nail polish strips will be great for a variety of characters and go on quick. Something simple for a school girl. Mermaid for fishy scales. Bloody Gorgeous for the dark, sexy creatures of the night. Just keep an eye out because they have different strips available all the time. Below is a sample of Bloody Gorgeous that Brandy did on herself.

Please check out the photos I have included in this review. All of these photos feature nails done by myself or my sisters (Brandy and Kate). Forbidden Griffin by Zoe Chant

I received "Forbidden Griffin" by Zoe Chant as an ARC.  "Forbidden Griffin" is a shifter romance between two exiled griffins.  While trying to avoid too many spoilers, Cela is exiled from Griffin Island because her babies were not born griffins.  A nice enforcer suggests she find Tyr to help her out.  Needless to say, Cela and Tyr get a lot more than they bargained for when they meet and Tyr helps Cela get used to living in a human world, as Cela had never been off the island.  They'd make a nice family... if only they could touch.  The story follows Tyr and Cela's journey to break their curse and become a family along the way.  It's a sweet story of new beginnings and second chances, as well as new and blended families.  Though this is the 8th book in Chant's Bodyguard Shifters series, it is easily read as a standalone, though there are a few references to things that happened in prior books.  I will definitely be going back to read the othe...

Duskfire Dragon's Mate by Zoe Chant

I received "Duskfire Dragon's Mate" by Zoe Chant as an Advanced Reading Copy (ARC).  "Duskfire Dragon's Mate" is a shifter romance between a human and a dragon who had a lot of misunderstandings in their past. While trying to avoid too many spoilers, Maya had fled from Corin and the human world to Hideaway Cove, a safe haven for shifters, to protect her son, Tomas, in the previous story, "The Lightning Dragon's Mate."  Maya receives a mystery package that brings Corin back into her life.  Worried about her son, Maya agrees to allow Corin to stay and they begin to discover a world of misunderstandings, not just their own.  It's a sweet story of new beginnings and second chances, as well strengthening of familial bonds with some surprising twists in the plot.  Also, who can resist Tomas' adorable baby dragon antics and stealing of gold?  Though this is the 4th book in Chant's Hideaway Cove series, it can be read as a standalone.  Howe...

Unholy Murder by Lynda La Plante

The 7th novel in the Tennison series, "Unholy Murder" by Lynda La Plante starts off slow with the discovery of a coffin in a dig site.  Over the course of the book, many mysteries are unveiled as Jane Tennison tries to get justice for the dead nun.  Relationships are tense, broken and strengthened, as new information is found.  Will justice ever be served or will they perp(s) escape once again?  Though the story is slow to get into, it does become more engaging as it nears the climax and reveals.  There are lots of red herrings and little details that add up to understanding the case.  What is nice about "Unholy Murder" is that you do not need to have read the previous books in the series to enjoy this book.  Any details that you need from the previous books are woven in nicely throughout the natural thread of the story and plot line.  I also liked how detailed the investigation process was as it really gives you insight to what takes place...
