Ancord Bluetooth Speaker from FREEWISE Review

Hey all! I love this mini Bluetooth stereo from FREEWISE. It is great for us cosplayers who like to make videos of us in character or sing our favorite songs from the series.

Also, pay attention to this review because I may be GIVING AWAY one of these great speakers soon!

About the Product: I chose to review the blue Ancord Bluetooth Speaker from FREEWISE but it actually comes in three colors: blue, rose gold, and silver. The speaker comes with a connector so you can hang it off your phone, a charging cord (though it can be any mini USB cord as my phone charger works perfectly with it), and directions. It is pretty easy to set up even without the directions (I should know as I accidentally left the directions at work). All you have to do is go to your Bluetooth settings. Turn the speaker on by holding the on button at the bottom for a few seconds and then hitting connect on your phone. Super easy even for the technologically challenged people such as myself. The speaker has rubber at the bottom which keeps it from sliding across the table. It is super small so easy to transport from place to place. If you check out my video, you will see that the speaker is quite loud despite its size and the volume can be adjusted by turning it up and down on your phone. The connector has a loop in which you can wrap around the hole specifically for that purpose on the bottom of the speaker and then can be plugged into the phone’s headphone port. The speaker easily hung from the phone and is light enough that you don’t have to worry about it dragging the headphone piece down and disconnected.

Other functions of the Bluetooth speaker is that the speaker can function as a very simple keyboard. I can click things on the speaker and it will open up sections of the phone. The speaker also should act like a selfie camera and active your camera by clicking the on button. You can switch between keyboard and phone by double clicking the on button. One thing I would like to see added or changed is to clarify how to use to keyboard and camera features of the speaker. However, neither of these features are why I was interested in the Bluetooth speaker and the speaker works fantastically for its main purpose: playing music.

Cosplay Applications: As for the cosplay aspect of this speaker, many of us do videos and this can be a great way to provide background music to our videos (with permissions or considering other legalities of use of music). For those of you who like to sing, we can easily perform karaoke with our little speakers hidden behind us or behind the camera. It has so many uses that I am excited what some of you can come up with. I am sure the gamers who are reading this can think of lots of applications for this product as well.

Please check out the photos and video I have included in this review. All of these photos and the video feature the Ancord Bluetooth Speaker that I received to review from FREEWISE. If you wish to check out the product and see other reviews, please check their product listing on Amazon.

Fireborne by Rosaria Munda

Hey all, it's been a while since I posted a review but I couldn't help but share this story. Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/Fireborne-AURELIAN-CYCLE-Book-1-ebook/dp/B07MYGW4K3/ Without spoiling too much of the story, I had the pleasure of reading and advanced reading copy (ARC) of Fireborne by Rosaria Munda which had me hooked from page one, both as an avid reader of fantasy and romance and as a teacher. I highly recommend the book if you enjoyed reading Seraphina by Rachel Hartman or Eragon by Christopher Paolini. As someone who appreciates character growth in the story, it was a pleasure to watch two unlikely friends, Annie and Lee, work through their past, their goals for the future, people's expectations, and the war that threatens to destroy their worlds all while dealing with the emotional upheaval of being a teen without parents and training to become the leader of the dragon riders, aka Firstrider and the Fleet Commander. Lee, a dragonlord's son...

Forbidden Griffin by Zoe Chant

I received "Forbidden Griffin" by Zoe Chant as an ARC.  "Forbidden Griffin" is a shifter romance between two exiled griffins.  While trying to avoid too many spoilers, Cela is exiled from Griffin Island because her babies were not born griffins.  A nice enforcer suggests she find Tyr to help her out.  Needless to say, Cela and Tyr get a lot more than they bargained for when they meet and Tyr helps Cela get used to living in a human world, as Cela had never been off the island.  They'd make a nice family... if only they could touch.  The story follows Tyr and Cela's journey to break their curse and become a family along the way.  It's a sweet story of new beginnings and second chances, as well as new and blended families.  Though this is the 8th book in Chant's Bodyguard Shifters series, it is easily read as a standalone, though there are a few references to things that happened in prior books.  I will definitely be going back to read the othe...
